Performance & Fitment Features:

• Signal Correction: Engineered specifically to restore the operation of factory and aftermarket voltage-triggered tachometers that fail to operate directly off the square-wave tach output terminal of an MSD Ignition Control Box.

• EFI & Relay Activation: Restores the RPM signal required by factory Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) systems and fuel pump relays that lose their trigger signal after an MSD Ignition upgrade.

• Broad Application: Designed for use on vehicles utilizing the magnetic pickup input to trigger the MSD Ignition. It is also the mandatory adapter for current-triggered tachometers (wired in series with the ignition switch).

• Important Installation Warning: This adapter modifies the tachometer signal only. CAUTION: Never connect this adapter, or any other wire, directly to the Ignition Coil terminals when an MSD 6, 7, 8, or 10 Series Ignition Control is installed. Doing so will instantly destroy the ignition box and the adapter.
