Comprehensive Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

Last Updated: March 2026

1. General Processing & Automated Fulfillment Onyx Customs FL is an authorized online retailer utilizing a highly automated fulfillment network. We partner with national wholesale distributors across the contiguous United States to ensure rapid delivery.

  • API Order Transmission: Upon successful payment capture, orders are transmitted via API to the nearest fulfillment center. Once an order reaches the processing or manifested stage at the warehouse, it cannot be modified, rerouted, or canceled.

  • Processing Times: In-stock items typically process within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and federal holidays).

  • Fraud Prevention Hold: Orders flagged by our risk analysis system (such as mismatched Billing and Shipping addresses) will be placed on a security hold. You may be required to submit government-issued identification to release the shipment.

2. Shipping Geography & EPA Compliance Restrictions We ship via standard ground services to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

  • Federal Emissions (EPA/CARB) Restrictions: Onyx Customs FL strictly complies with the Federal Clean Air Act. We cannot ship aftermarket components lacking a valid CARB Executive Order (EO) to California or any Section 177 adopting state. If an order is placed for an emissions-restricted item with a shipping address in a restricted state, the order will be canceled, and a 3% merchant processing fee may be deducted from the refund.

3. Dropshipping, Split Shipments & Backorders

  • Split Shipments: To expedite delivery, we may source your parts from multiple regional warehouses. Your order may arrive in multiple packages on different days with distinct tracking numbers at no additional shipping cost to you.

  • Backorders: We actively sync inventory, but high-demand performance parts may experience unforeseen manufacturer backorders. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase and cannot be shipped within 30 days, we will notify you immediately to offer the choice of maintaining your position on the waitlist or receiving a full refund.

4. Oversized & Freight Deliveries (LTL) Guidelines Large components (e.g., engines, full exhaust systems, hoods) must ship via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight.

  • Delivery Appointments: The freight carrier will contact you to schedule delivery. Unless selected at checkout, the buyer is responsible for any secondary accessorial carrier fees (such as residential or liftgate surcharges) or storage fees resulting from missed appointments.

  • Inspection and Bill of Lading (BOL): You or your authorized mechanic must physically inspect the freight for damage before signing the driver's Bill of Lading (BOL). If the box is crushed or severely damaged, write "Damaged - Refused" on the BOL, take clear photographs, and refuse the delivery.

  • Liability Notice: By signing the BOL without noting damage, you legally confirm receipt of the goods in perfect condition. Signing as "Clear" limits our distributors' ability to file a freight claim, and no refunds or replacements can be issued for concealed damage reported after a clear signature.

5. Refused Shipments & Address Corrections

  • Refusals: Refusing a standard delivery for any reason other than documented transit damage will result in return processing costs. Refused packages are subject to a 20% Restocking Fee, plus the deduction of both the original outbound shipping costs and the return freight costs levied by the carrier.

  • Rerouting: Address changes post-dispatch are generally prohibited. If a carrier intercept is possible and approved, a minimum $35 Carrier Intercept Fee will apply.

6. Transfer of Liability (Risk of Loss) Onyx Customs FL ships all parcels under "FOB Shipping Point" terms. The risk of loss and title for the items pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or LTL provider). Onyx Customs FL is not liable for theft post-delivery (porch piracy) or delays caused by severe weather or carrier mismanagement. High-value orders may require a direct signature upon delivery.
