• CRITICAL SENSOR INSTALLATION WARNING (WELDING REQUIRED): This kit requires welding the included O2 bung into your exhaust system. The sensor MUST be mounted at least 18 inches downstream from the exhaust port (or turbocharger) and MUST be angled at least 10 degrees above the horizontal position. Mounting the sensor at the bottom of the pipe allows exhaust condensation (water) to shock and shatter the internal heated ceramic element. Sensor failure due to thermal shock or water damage is strictly excluded from the manufacturer's warranty.

• CRITICAL WIRING WARNING (DO NOT CUT WIRES): The Bosch sensor connector contains a factory-calibrated trim resistor. Under no circumstances should you cut, splice, or modify the sensor wires or connector to pass through a firewall. Doing so instantly destroys the factory calibration and permanently voids the warranty.

• Consumable Component Notice: Oxygen sensors are highly sensitive consumable items. Exposure to leaded racing fuels, two-stroke oil, or excessively rich tuning will drastically reduce the sensor's lifespan.
